Bob Rae, Gerard Kennedy, and Martha Hall Findlay, only candidates not suspected of any wrong doing

This race is turning into a disgrace for the Liberal Party.

First Joe Volpe with his numerous assualts on Liberal Dignity with signing up members who were way too young. Now his current scandal of signing up dead people and paying for membership fees, you can see a blog's satirical take on this here.

Then there was this aricle, it explains that Stephane Dion, Ken Dryden, and Scott Brison are under investigation for giving out confidential information about Liberal members.

Now Michael Ignatieff is having his reputation rebuffed and actually sullied greatly, and in doing so the Liberal Party's. It seems Michael Ignatieff has a complaint against him. 48 members in his riding had their memberships paid for them by the Ignatieff campaign, the evidence is pretty strong. Newspapers have quickly jumped on this; reporting it here and here.

So with 5 of the leadership candidates having their conduct questioned, it makes you think. Is a good strategy for future leadership races, to not do anything that would merit investigation or complaints? You would think this is obvious, yet here we are, with a majority of our potential leaders being put forth in the media as scandolous crooks.

Bob Rae, the leading; Gerard Kennedy, the dark horse; and Martha Hall Findlay, the underdog, all have warranted no scandals or disrepute for the Liberal Party.

The dead person in Ignatieff's riding bought a 5 year membership in 2004 before Ignatieff was even MP for the riding.

Wow. Not sure your post is accurate.

Kennedy is not "guiltless" of mass sign ups in a particular ethnic community, signing up instant Liberals who had no idea what they were signing or why they were signing documents at their local temple.

Upon confrontation these instant Liberals have acknowledged not having to pay for the memberships.

People living in glasshouses should not cast stones.

Excuse me - Bob Rae has agreed to pay off the debt of 3 other candidates so far. He's essentially buying support. Just wait for it...

Isn't interesting how the once great Liberal Party has been overthrown by the Socialist NDP. If Boob Rae becomes the leader of the party it will essentially be the New NDP.

that's is so wrong, especially when all the questionable sgnatures are kennedy's now. Also there's nothing wrong with disclosing lists to polling companies that sign non disclosure agreements. Iit's specifically allowed as written in the agrreement witth the party.

"...explains that Stephane Dion, Ken Dryden, and Scott Brison are under investigation"

What investigation?

I repeat, what investigation?

I suggest you watch CTV's Mike Duffy live if you haven't already (it's repeated at 8:00 Toronto time on CNET)

Then think about this Mr. Bob Rae. Listen to what a Mr. Heard says about Chretien/Eddy Goldenberg/Joh Rae and what they did to John Turner.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Bob Rae camp putting out suspicions - this really smells!

Stone Thrower: Post the link or any evidence of your claim. All my points were proven. Thanks for coming out.

S.B.: If you read my post you'll see I explicitly said under investigation or suspicion thereof. I'd like people to actually read my blog before commenting.

Anonymous: The investigation, I repeat the investigation that I posted on my blog. Please read the BLOG BEFORE YOU COMMENT ON IT. Click on the word "article" in the Dion, Dryden, and Brison Paragraph. Thank you.

Bob Rae's donations to the NDP, by strict legal reading, is not in violation of any laws thus legal wrong doing. I have mentioned before however I believe contributing to the NDP then 3 months later running for Liberal Leadership is an opportunistic immoral act.

As for leaving out Hedy Fry, isn't it obvious?
